This flute and acoustic guitar duet was written as a gift for a dear friend of mine. Even now, we wind up playing it together when bored. Though I am the one who wrote out the music, she was just as instrumental in giving the ideas, themes, and direction of the piece and how it progresses. Moments of unity, moments of confusion, moments of love and anxiety, they weave together into what we find is our sweetest dream.
